2004 It is official the committee headed by John A. Nagy has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2004 goes to John Buchanan for his book The Road to Valley Forge: How Washington Built the Army that Won the Revolution.

 

 

 

2005 It is official the committee headed by John A. Nagy has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2005 goes to Glenn Williams for his book Year Of The Hangman: George Washington’s Campaign Against The Iroquois.

 

 

2006 It is official the committee headed by John A. Nagy has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2006 goes to Charles Rappleye for his book Sons of Providence: The Brown Brothers, the Slave Trade, and the American Revolution.

 

 

2007 It is official the committee has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2007 goes to John A. Nagy for his book Rebellion in the Ranks Mutinies of the American Revolution.

 

 

2008 – It is official the committee headed by John A. Nagy has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2008 goes to Matthew H. Spring for his book “With Zeal and With Bayonets Only: The British Army on Campaign in North America, 1775-1783”.

Nagy has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2009 to Dr. Nancy K. Loane for her bookFollowing the Drum: Women at the Valley Forge Encampment”

 

 

 

2010 It is official the committee headed by John A. Nagy has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2010 to Tim McGrath for his bookJohn Barry An American Hero in the Age of Sail”.

Nagy has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2012, to Samuel A. Foreman for his book “Dr. Joseph Warren – The Boston Tea Party, Bunker Hill, and the Birth of American Liberty”.

 

 

 

2013 It is official the committee headed by John A. Nagy has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2013 to Andrew O’Shaughnessy for his book, “The Men Who Lost America: British Leadership, the American Revolution, and the Fate of the Empire”.

2017 (Book of the Year) – It is official the Book Award Committee has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2017 to David Smith for his book, “Whispers Across the Atlantick: General William Howe and the American Revolution

 

 

 

2017 (Honorable Mention)-The Book Award Committee also selected an Honorable Mention category to 2017, and we are happy to announce that the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Honorable Mention Book Award on the American Revolution Era published in 2017 goes to Virginia DeJohn Anderson for her book “The Martyr and the Traitor: Nathan Hale, Moses Dunbar, and the American Revolution

 

 

 

2018 (Book of the Year) – It is official, the Book Award Committee has awarded the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia’s Book Award for the best book on the American Revolution Era published in 2018 to Colin G. Calloway for his book, The Indian World of George Washington: The First President, the First Americans, and the Birth of the Nation
